Alex brings over 20 years of experience working for technology companies in Silicon Valley. He has been in executive search for 14 years and is the founder of Buccieri Search Group. His expertise has been in building senior-level teams in the areas of Marketing, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Business Development and Alliances in Enterprise Software, Storage, Services and Consumer markets.
Alex has worked with clients that include Mercury Interactive (acquired by HP), Oracle, Veritas Software (acquired by Symantec), Palm, KPMG, 3COM (acquired by Cisco), Compaq Computer (acquired by HP), Blue Martini Software, and J. Walter Thompson Technology, as well as numerous venture backed start-ups such as Andale, Planitax (acquired by Thomson Reuters), Linuxcare (acquired by Levanta), Cloudscape (acquired by Informix/IBM), and Fireclick(acquired by Digital River). Alex has also worked as an in-house executive recruiter at Google and SAP.
Alex has lived in Silicon Valley since 1983 and has built a large business and personal network. He applies a high degree of commitment to each search he completes. Alex consistently attracts top-notch executive talent. His management skills, experiences, personal attributes and contacts have made him a widely-recognized search professional.
Prior to founding Buccieri Search Group, Alex was co-founder of Silicon Search Partners. He has also worked at Dolch Computer and Kubota Graphics in management roles. Previously he was with GRiD Systems in Operational positions. He has also worked at General Motors Corporation, where he held management positions within the Engineering and Quality organizations.
Alex graduated from Purdue University, with a BS in Industrial Management.
